Kingman Academy of Learning is a public charter school serving grades preschool through 12th grade. Our philosophy is to provide a back to basics educational experience where staff, students, parents, and the community all work together with the common goal of preparing our students for the future. We focus on academics, the emotional wellness of our students, and giving our students an opportunity to be successful. Our vision is to empower students to discover their own unique talents and to use them to achieve academic excellence and success later in life.by offering a rigorous and varied curriculum across all grade levels and with the addition of a partnership with mohave community college and the wave technical education program at our high school, students are able to follow their own unique path for personal achievement. We are continuing to build on this by creating individual student pathways for each student through career and college classes. We are also able to offer a full range of extracurricular activities including athletics (football, swimming, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, cheer, golf, cross country, soccer, track & field), multiple clubs (robotics, chimes, garden club, running club, chess club, drama, art, renaissance, etc. ), and elective classes for the students to participate in throughout the year. Our active leadership programs through student council and renaissance help to build a positive, nurturing, and inspirational climate and culture where all students are celebrated for their accomplishments in the school and community. Two of our schools have earned the title of jostens renaissance platinum school of distinction. Kingman Academy is truly a school family. We enjoy homecoming together, spirit days, read-a-thons, turkey trots, athletic events, individual school events, graduations and former students' achievements.
