Educationthe education program is an educational platform, community, and resource hub created to educate, inspire, and empower individuals, farmers, and businesses to become powerful and impactful advocates for the regenerative movement by providing classes, workshops, and a speaker's bureau. Ktg has become a premier online educational hub for regenerative agriculture, offering an online "pathway" for anyone to find resources and their unique way forward in contributing to this expanding global movement. In 2023, ktg had 137 students participating in soil advocate training, and 160 students participating in regenerative gardening.
Partnershipsthe partnership program allows ktg to use expertise and experience to further the work of its brand partners and businesses wanting to enter or grow within regenerative space.
Mediaktg uses storytelling through short films, mini-docs, branded collaborations, and other content to educate, inspire, and connect millions to the regenerative movement. Ktg uses its various platforms to uplift and engage with individuals and organizations by sharing their hopeful perspectives and stories about how to heal and regenerate the earth and its inhabitants. Ktg has spread the word through creative collaborations that have resulted in a critically acclaimed documentary Kiss the groundh that was released on netflix in september 2020. To date, there has been more than 5,100 screenings of the film. In 2023, a follow-up film called common groundh was released in theaters. Through this program, ktg also explores storytelling with its partners in this movement; and educates the public about regenerative agriculture, through storytelling about different brands or their farmer's journeys.
Advocacyktg builds political will for the regenerative agriculture movement by encouraging its community and the general public to get involved in policy, and by working directly with federal, state, and local policymakers to advance regenerative agriculture. Ktg works closely with politicians, policymakers, and other organizations to aid in the creation and maintenance of legislation. In 2023, ktg worked with members of congress to introduce three marker bills (placeholder bills intended to be included in the final farm bill) that would help advance the transition towards regenerative agriculture: the soil care act, the place act, and the streamlining conservation practice standards act. Ktg held three lobby days in d.c. with 50 offices, including a "business case for regenerative agriculture" fly-in. Ktg also hosted a regenerative agriculture briefing with woody harrelson and 90 congressional offices in attendance. Ktg co-hosted a congressional reception with ian somerhalder, rosario dawson, and 120 offices in attendance. In 2023, over 30,000 advocates engaged in 4,600 messages to congress, and submitted 261 letters to the editor. Ktg received 900 media mentions during the year, and by year-end, numbered 122 coalition members.
