Working with The Nature Conservancy efforts is to increase public funding toward the restoration of US islands, particularly for increasing the scope and scale of proven actions with precedent in the US, including invasive species eradication, biosecurity, and conservation translocations.
kito worked in the Caribbean to restore coral reefs in and around the Petit St Vincent in collaboration with the government and with the private sector.
Kito Impact Foundation works to eliminate food waste, reduce the impacts of climate change, and mitigate plastics. Working with partners Kito developed grant making strategies for small organizations with a focus on people of color as both benefactors and leadership of organizations. Kito also worked on innovative strategies to eliminate single use plastics with corporations.

Kito worked on the The Cocos Island Restoration Project focused on the protection of native and endemic species, one of the last biodiversity hotspot of native biodiversity on Guam. Cocos Island has been brown tree snake free until discovered in 2020. The primary objective is the reclamation of the Islan Dano (Cocos) from introduced Brown Tree Snake that are threatening native and endemic birds and reptiles.
