Program areas at Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center
The family services program offers youth programming, wrap-around family support, health care services, and resource navigation for community members. They work closely with the legal services program to ensure that all clients' needs are met.
Legal services program provides free or low-cost business, tax and legal services and representation for clients residing in clallam, jefferson, lewis, king, Kitsap, mason, pacific, pierce and thurston counties. Legal matters include consulting with and representing clients before citizenship and immigration services, immigration court, state court and state department seeking a wide range of immigration benefits such as appeals, asylum, bonds deferred action for childhood arrivals, employment authorization, special immigration juvenile status, temporary protected status and u-visa status. Our tax and business team assisted clients to file state tax returns, federal returns and business licenses.
