Coordinated the annual Alaska Knights of Columbus Bison Hunt Raffle. Working with other councils in the state we sold raffle tickets. We had $130,221 in net profit and donated 4111,216 back to participating councils. The balance was donated to local non-profits as described below.
Provided grants supporting Co-Cathedral of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Renovations Fund & Religious Education, The National Shrine of St Therese, monthly pancake breakfast, St Patricks Day dinner, Christmas family dinner, youth athletics and three $1,500 scholarships for graduating seniors.
Made grants to local non-profits to support food banks, homeless shelters, soup kitchens and homeless families including St. Vincent de Paul, the Glory Hall, Catholic Community Service and Family Promise
