Kkgs hosts 'meet your neighboir dinner,' (mynd) A unique experience that brings together corporate employees and those who are experiencing homelessness - side by side we create an experience, through dinners and conversation, that enables people to sit down next to their neighbors and truly meet them instead of just rushing by one another on the street.
Kkgs relies on donations in order to carry out its mission and impact. Every year, kkgs hosts "socks in the city" social, bringing millenials together for A great event that combines fun and charity. The event includes an open bar and live dj, encouraging attendees to dance the night away to A better world. At the end of the event, we offer all of our guests A pair of socks to donate to A neighbor they see on their nyc streets. This event is meant to encourage am interaction that A typical millenial's saturday night does not include: giving back.
Thousands of pair of socks donated to homeless shelters; socks obtained throughsock donation drives that encourage communities to work together to help those in need, thereby uniting the community by helping community members to meet their neighbors
