The purpose of the organization is to make scholarship grants and loans to the students of orthodox Jewish institutions. Students are required to provide evidence of their sincerity and devotion to their studies. Selection of grant recipients is by the dean and trustees of the schools. Relatives and members of the section committee are not eligible to participate. The only condition of the grant is the student remain a student of an orthodox Jewish institution. Supervision of the student recipients is the responsibility of the dean of the school. The students are required to reapply each year and obtain recommendation
