Komaza's program provides tool and inputs, training,and maintenance support for some of the world's hardes to serve farmers by supporting the creation of small-scale tree farms in kenya's semi-arid regions. Our program is implemented with local field staff in two planting seasons: the long rains, beginning in march, and the short rains, beginning in september. During 2016 Komaza partnered with almost 2,000 new farmers, planting over 400,000 trees as well as shorter-term crops.
