Construction and furnishings for the Surmang shedra (school) building complex, 25,000 square feet in size, which is now largely completed. The school is locally owned and administered.
Educational program for about 250 ethnic Tibetan children, ages 5-15, in low income area in Surmang Valley, Qinghai Province, China. Schooling meals provided for 2 months, 7 days/week.
