In 2023, Kootenai Health Foundation gave Kootenai Health over $3.5 million to directly benefit the patients and staff. The Foundation was able to provide:-$2,500,000 towards heart center expansion-over $57,000 towards department equipment and supplies for critical care, car seats for buses, pediatric cart for ed-over $575,000 to supporting staff positions in addition rec-over $233,000 for nursing housing stipends, telehealth training-over $111,000 to employee, patient and community benefit: family fund, cancer patient support, clothing closet -over $73,000 for employee scholarships and trainings
In 2023, Kootenai Health Foundation provided $17,044 in scholarships to staff at Kootenai Health and teen volunteers continuing their education. -$6,000 in scholarships awarded to 7 Kootenai Health clinical employees from the clinical scholarship program for continuing education to enhance patient care-$7,044 in scholarships awarded to 9 Kootenai Health general employees from the pierce family scholarship program for continuing education, training, etc.-$4,000 in scholarships to 4 Kootenai Health teen volunteers to begin their college education courtesy of the kim svee memorial teen volunteer scholarship program
In 2023, st. mary's Health Foundation and clearwater valley Health & clinics Foundation provided over $22,000 to directly benefit the patients and surrounding community.-over $21,000 for community programs including food banks, gas gift cards, youth sports, christmas gifts for children in need-$1,500 for 3 scholarships to students seeking a degree in medical, scientific or educational studies
