Kristol Center for Jewish Life enriches the lives of Jewish students at the University of Delaware by offering weekly Friday night Shabbat dinners to around 75 students, Jewish holiday services and meals throughout the year that serve about 500 students, and 2-3 weekly programs. On-going campus initiatives weekly friday night (shabbat dinners) to approximately 75 students, Jewish holiday services and meals throughout the year that serve approximately 500 students (including at least half a dozen holidays), 2-3 weekly programs throughout the school year implemented by seven registered student organizations (rso's) under the Kristol Center umbrella. The rso's provide service learning opportunities, social networks and experiences of Jewish engagement on campus.
Freshmen fest is a Jewish student orientation program. The incoming freshmen spend their first 30 hours on campus doing hillel activities including icebreakers, team building tours, resource fairs, and social programming provided by upper classmen.
Immersion Jewish experiences sent students to israel on a campus-based taglit-birthright israel trip.
