Program areas at La Casa Norte

La Casa nortes palante supportive housing program is a scattered site permanent housing initiative which provides chronically homeless youth and families with long term stable housing. Clients housed in the program are provided with both housing subsidies and supportive services, which are all required to successfully house these households. Support services provided include case management, therapy, nutrition education and referrals to a range of additional services such as health care, substance abuse treatment, mental health, child care, legal assistance, work force development services and educational programming.
The community & supportive services program (formerly the crisis center) provides free, accessible, bilingual and culturally appropriate case management and housing advocacy services to families, unaccompanied youth and single individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The community & supportive services program staff work in partnership with clients to obtain and maintain housing
Casa corazon is lcns unaccompanied homeless youth outreach and engagement project which focuses on connecting homeless youth to services. This program provides street outreach, drop in centers and comprehensive case management services to youth (including pregnant and parenting women) and emergency overnight shelter beds for homeless youth between 18 and 24 years of age.
Other programs include the solid ground supportive housing program, youth in college, and the foundation project.
