La Fuerza (the organization)conducted three youth training sessions on civic matters.the average attendance at these sessions was 7 attendees.two such sessions were held in raleigh,nc and one in burlington,nc. The organization estatblished relationships with 8 college groups and 4 high school groups.the organization shared information with these groups about civic engagement. The organization assisted other non profits with the non partisan registration of 396 voters and the distribution of approximately 200000 voter guides.the voter guides did not endorse candidates but compiled answers to questions.the questions highlighted issues that were inportant to the hispanic community.note that the hispanic community is not overly identified with any political party. The organization assisted other non profits to host 12 candidate forums.these candidate forums were non partisan.anyone in the community was invited to attend. The organization established locations at four voting cites to provide answers to questions potential voters might have on election procedures. The organization did the training of hispanic community leaders in chatham county ,NC , on how to de escalate any conflict at election polling sites, how to report observed election law violations at polling sites, as well as what to do if a legitimate voter is turned away at the votng site. The organization, along with another non profit, did host a non profit by the name of bolder advocacy to conduct a virtual training session on how to comply with the rules and regulations of the internal revenue code as applied to social welfare organizations and charitable organizations , in the general area of issue advocacy. The organization did engage in some limited political intervention, more particularly described on schedule c.
