La Veta Village - on april 28, 2022 the organization received its certificate of occupancy for a 16-bed state-of-the-art senior assisted living center with enough space to also serve as a seniors gathering place for the town of La Veta, Colorado. On september 22, 2022, the organization received its official license from the state to operate as an assisted living residence. The first room rentals commenced on october 1, 2022.
Community food bank - during 2023 the organization continued to provide food for older adults and area families. The need for this servcie has persisted since the brunt of the pandemic. Funded primarily through donor restricted gifts and using donated space at a town center, 1,396 citizens were benefitted in 2023. For the grocery shopping service, 5 unique households were served.
