District Grants: Grants made to support the staff and students in the Ladue School District. This year this included: Author Bridget Heos, Library Bill of Rights at the LHWHS Library, Music without Boundaries, An African Storytelling Experience with Bobby Norfolk, 7th Grade Living Legacy of the Holocaust Field Trip, STEAM Education for All, Author Visit: Vivienne Chang & Eugenia Yoh - This Is Not My Home, 6th Grade Biz Town Field Trip, John O'Leary (Convocation Guest Speaker), Restricted Grants
West Campus Plaza Capital Campaign - The proposed West Campus Plaza, to be located near the athletic fields behind the Ladue Fifth Grade Center and is planned to include: Permanenet retrooms, covered area with permanent seating, vending machines, drinking fountain / water bottle filler, donor recognition plaque, and coaches corner recognition plaque.
"Center for Advanced Studies (CAPS): Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) programs are nationally recognized, innovative high school programs. Students fast forward into their future and are fully immersed in a professional culture, solving real world problems, using industry standard tools and are mentored by actual employers, all while receiving high school and college credit. CAPS is an example of how business, community and public education can partner to produce personalized learning experiences that educate the workforce of tomorrow, especially in high skill, high demand jobs.
