In 2023, family camping was provided to over 896 people, via 236 campsite reservations, with an avg stay of 6.2 nights, totaling 1,467 site-nights. Discounts provided to scouts and church groups. Free hiking offered to community.
Volunteer work day events (spring cleaning and firewood-splitting/bundling days).
Property management relating to dam upgrades, including permitting and planning/designing outletworks updates. Preparation of land development plan for growing and modernizing camping and community facilities.
Lake Heron conservancys primary function is the conservation of the Lake Heron property and the operation of the
