Program areas at Lake Highlands Highlandettes Parents Association
Revue (show) The Highlandettes produce a Spring Show each year called "REVUE" where the Highlandettes perform all of their competition dances along with other 'Revue-themed' dances, including solos from the Drill team Captain & 1st Lieutenant. The Highlandettes receive Revenue through tickets sales to the general public as well as advertising revenue from local businesses who advertise in the Revue "Program" that is given out to spectators who come watch the Show.
Dancing with the Dettes (DWD) Dancing with the Dettes is a twice/year event where mostly elementary-aged school children in the community pay the organization to "dance with the Highladettes" all day. DWD is generally offered once a semester on a 'teacher-in service' day where there is no school. Fall DWD Participants get to perform on the football field with the Highlandettes, while spring dwd participants are invited to perform a dance for REVUE.
