The Lansing Area Aids Network provided client communication, education, and supportive services to hiv infected individuals and their family members; along with others who reside in the central Michigan Area to increase their abiltiy to cope with stressors related to living with hiv/aids. Prevention strategies are supported by counseling, testing, and referral services. Approximately 700 persons received healthcare, prescription, dental, nutritional, housing, and/or transportation services.
