Lantuun Dohio

Magic mongolia is the major educational and financial resource to magic mongolia centers, ulaanbaatar, mongolia, that provides children with an immediate shelter to protect them from abusive and violent environments. The center not only provides a place to live, but also assists them with free in-house educational programs, legal advice and health care while living in a loving and caring place. During the year, magic mongolia center served 60-70 children daily, on average. In addition, magic mongolia organized a series of workshops throughout the year that help the parents of those children to obtain good parenting and new job skills that lead them to create a safer home and find a job because we believe that unhealthy relationships and unemployment are the major causes of child abuse and negligence.

In 2023, Lantuun Dohio started a local program to support mongolian community in addressing its unique challenges and lacks adequate support to combat domestic violence and child abuse. To address these issues, we prepare to organize culturally tailored workshops for children and adults and raise awareness by translating and disseminating informative materials of the national center for missing & exploited children, arlington's project peace initiative, and other sources. By partnering with local organizations, we plan to run an indirect helpline, providing support to individuals with urgent needs and facilitating connections with essential community resources.

Lantuun Dohio mongolia is a program that focuses on educating youth and raises awareness about human trafficking and child abuse in mongolia. Since 2013, it has had series of short and long-term initiatives, including publishing series of children's comic books, joining the "open your eyes" campaign, and organizing and delivering of the annual "magic bag" project. Lantuun Dohio publishes children's books to educate young children about the hidden dangers of social media and the potential crime of human trafficing. In 2018 -2023, Lantuun Dohio joined the national movement "open your eyes", which was to raise awareness of sexual abuse of the most vulnerable age group , minors. In addition, Lantuun Dohio organizes annual "magic bag" campaign, which not only delivers gifts to thousands of children during the holiday season in the outskirts of the capital city of mongolia, where the low income families are concentrated but it also does the necessary research and to collect data to understand the real situations of these children.
