Program areas at Latin American and Caribbean Network for Democracy

Community of Democracy: redlad leads the civil society pillar of the community of democracies, coordinating the creation of citizen agendas and the participation of civil society representatives in high level events. We also led the reporting process for the renewal of five countries, ensuring the civil society voice is heard.
Accountability lab-logistic support for the implementation of an activity named 'hackaton corruption', in which youth from 7 countries received training and support for the design and implementation of initiatives that used digital tools to combat corruption. Redlad's support was crutial for the project's development and the impact the youth projects will have in their countries.
Civicus-redlad acts as the main researcher of the civicus monitor for 11 countries in Latin america. We collect information about civic space (freedom of association, assembly, expression) and report for the creation of a world wide life report. In 2023 we also helped to coordinate the global meeting of researchers that was held in bogota,in august and was a success. We guarantee the quality of the global report by sending high standard local reports.
