Program areas at Loveone
Laundry program: at our laundry events, our neighbors can wash and dry up to three loads of their laundry free of charge. For 2022, 80 tons of laundry was washed and dried.
Food pantry program: we host a weekly free food pantry in a rural community where it is difficult to access nutritious food (fresh, frozen and shelf stable). We also provide dry goods and home supplies as available. In 2022, families shopped at our free food pantry 12,000 times.
Shower program: at our shower events, our neighbors are given 15 minutes in a shower stall stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They are provided a bath towel, bathmat, and wash cloth to borrow as well as a new undershirt, underwear, and socks to keep. We provided 250 showers in 2022.
4th exempt purpose accomplishment outreach program: we built an outreach program to support folks living outside. In 2022 we connected with 110 unique individuals providing varying levels of support, housed 34 people and cleaned up more than 150 yards of trash.
