Laura Mahoney Autism and Epilepsy Foundation

The organization operates many programs designed to enrich the lives of individuals with Autism and seizure disorders and other disorders such as down syndrome. These programs include an adaptive horseback riding program, adaptive physical education programs, life and social skills programs, and transitional employment programs. All are offered to provide those affected by Autism and/or seizure disorders the ability to expand their recreational opportunities and learn and develop life and social skills needed to lead a more enriched and fulfilled life. During 2023, approximately 80 individuals participated in the organization's programs, and while most were school age children and young adults, participants included individuals up to the age of 40.
