Conservation: participate in and conduct Conservation planning and land protection efforts within the region; refine, update and maintain ecological gis mapping database for Conservation purposes and for the use of cooperating researchers and scientists; participate in the pioneers alliance; collaborated with local Conservation organizations to accomplish Conservation within the pioneer mountains and craters of the moon landscape.
Lava Lake injured veterans equine program (live): the live program was developed in consultation with recreational therapists from the veterans administration offices in palo alto,california and boise, Idaho. Participants must complete an equine therapy program to acquire basic horsemanship skills prior to coming to the ranch. Where appropriate and indicated therapeutically, a spouse or other family member may accompany a veteran
Wood river wolf project: the wood river wolf project is a collaborative of Conservation organizations, ranching operations, and county, state and federal agencies working together to use proactive, nonlethal deterrents to minimize livestock and wolf conflicts. Since 2008, the wood river wolf project has been helping blaine county ranchers implement nonlethal strategies to successfully reduce livestock losses and protect native wildlife.
Interest earned on temporary cash balance awaiting disbursement for program expenditures.
