LaVista Park Civic Association

The LaVista Park Civic Association unites residents in order to preserve the security, beauty, and peacefulness of their neighborhood. They communicate and address issues related to growth, zoning, traffic, safety, parks, crime, etc. via their website, newsletters, and regularly scheduled membership meetings for both the board and community of over 600 homes in the area. The Association also oversees cityhood efforts and provides a security patrol through off-duty Dekalb county police officers to help effectively reduce crime and drifters throughout the Atlanta-based neighborhood.
