Hatton W. Sumner Institutes: Texas Educators are provided with quality staff development and instructional materials. Programs include the following: 1 Hatton W. Sumner Institute on Founding Documents; 2 Texas Citizen Bee and Bee in a Box Competitions and 3 Elementary and Middle School Ambassador Program.
Texas Bar College: Liam Learns the Seven Principles of the US Constitution Spanish Videos Translate and create 8 videos in Spanish for the Liam Learns the Seven Principles of the US Constitution video series. Videos will also be in closed captions.
Texas Bar Foundation: Legal Beagle Children's Book Development of a children's book to help educate students about the role of lawyers and the legal profession by explaining what attorneys do. The target audience of this book would be elementary students. The main character would be Legal Beagle who along with his fellow canine friends and attorney owners would explore what it takes to become an attorney including attending law school. This resource would be beneficial for attorneys to use when they are asked to present to elementary students. The book would include a Spanish version as well as the audio version in both English and Spanish.
