Lawrence Township Education Foundation

In the 2022-23 school year LTEF awarded grants totaling more than $94,000 for approximately 50 innovative programs and projects to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the Lawrence Township Public School district. All elementary schools will receive the Mindful Moments Movements and Songs a Rockin' Yoga assemblies that combines mindfulness with music and movement to engage calm and unite students while getting them moving. In addition all elementary schools and LIS will get Climate Change Corners to house books on climate change. Eldridge Park School will be adding a Gaga pit and permanent adjustable basketball hoop. Multiple Lite-Brites will be provided to K & 1st grader classes LIS will see the creation of murals in all bathrooms at LIS by the Social Justice Club and Art Department; targeted language and literacy support for ESL students; and two sets of Tchoukball. All four elementary schools will benefit from one grant that will equip a photography and audio production classroom and Multiple schools will see the addition of flexible seating options. The High school will receive Vernier LabQuest devices for all science classes and a new Wenger Conductor's Podium that will improve all musical performances and practices.
