Program areas at Lead for Pollinators
We planned to present an in-person conference, but it quickly changed to a virtual conference due to COVID-19 pandemic and rules constraining social gathering.
Collaboration with partners--Have A Hive and Bee Heroic Project. They began the 2020 year with another fiscal sponsor, who postponed activities during the pandemic. Half-way through the year the previous fiscal sponsor asked LEAD for Pollinators to assume responsibility for the two partners. We also volunteered with a coalition of agricultural stakeholders working on pesticide and mosquito control education in Massachusetts.
Individual education to small groups, on-site at the beginning of the year, then virtually (online) for the balance of 2020. Education through our social media, newsletter, and website.
