Program areas at Lead Training
Lead Training prepares youth for life-career success and benefits the social welfare of greater cincinnati's school-age children in grades 3-12 via social-emotional learning, career readiness, and workforce development programs. We help students explore career possibilities, develop resiliency, empathy, and other 21st-century skills essential for future success, and nurture them to become engaged, forward-thinking leaders with a clear vision for their lives. Lead Training's programs target in-need students in warren, clermont, hamilton, and butler county and currently serve over 700 youth and work with nine business partners. Through business and education connections and life-career programs, Lead Training improves educational and workforce outcomes reducing the number of students that fall off after graduation and are instead on a viable career path (military, gainfully employed, or post-secondary).
