Program areas at Leadership Fort Worth
Leadership Class exposes established leaders to the diverse needs and issues in the community and enables them to become trustees of Fort Worth's future. The program provides a richer understanding of Fort Worth's hisory, current issues, future needs and opportunities. During this 9month program, participants collaborate with each other and community experts to make a difference through indepth issues initiative projects. Completion of the Leadership Class leads to becoming a member of Leadership Forum, a valuable network of talent that creates an environment for continuing development, education, and community trusteeship.
LeadingEdge offers Fort Worth's emerging leaders an opportunity to strengthen leadership practices, create connections with community leaders and move beyond volunteerism into board service. Completion of the 6month LeadingEdge program leads to becoming a member of LFW's Leadership Forum, a valuable network of talent that creates an environment for continuing development, education and community trusteeship. Graduates of the Leadership Class and Leading Edge classes become members of Leadership Fort Worth. LFW is committed to maintaining the connections that its members have to each other and to the Fort Worth community by providing programs that provide continuing education on leadership, updates on new entities/ initiatives in Fort Worth, and socializing/networking among members of Leadership Fort Worth.
LeaderPrime provides information and leadership connections to CEOs and executives in order to inform, educate and involve them in the Fort Worth community. The target audience is CEOs and executives who are new to Fort Worth and/or to their positions. Spouses/partners are invited to participate as well. Goals: to offer extensive information on pertinent issues impacting the business environment locally, statewide, and nationally; to provide connections/introductions to significant leaders and the roles they play.
