Core program experience - Leadership Tyler runs a nine-month long program for approximately 35 participants that accomplishes several goals. The first is to show each participant what a wonderful community Tyler is. The next goal of the program is to train leaders to be better leaders. Leadership Tyler core program offers training on conflct resolution techniques, on how to be a better communicator, and on being a good and productive board member. And finally, Leadership Tyler affords each class the opportunity to create an amazing bond with each other. In "traveling" through this experience as a group, they meld together and make lifelong friends among people who they might have never even met in their usual daily activities.
Executive orientation series - is Tyler's premier program to help new executive-level leaders quickly acclimate to the economic, political, and historical climate of our area. Program objectives include acquainting participants with Tyler's history, business environment, political and civic structures, and educational resources; informing participants about local cultural and recreational resources; providing participants the opportunity to interact with a cross-section of key local decision makers; and introducing participants to other executive individuals and couples.
The catalyst 100 program is a mentorship program that pairs members in mentoring relationships and offers quarterly sessions on current and informative topics relative to our community. There were approximately 100 members this year. The program's purpose is to further equip and develop community leaders in the Tyler area by providing forums for networking, mentoring and discussion of current community issues.
Alumni council provides members with continuing education and networking opportunities in the community. There are over 900 alumni of our programs.
