Activities include conducting voter registration drives, welcoming new citizens, and speaking to school and community groups about voting procedures and ways to be an informed voter. The League seeks to broaden outreach to voting by providing registration information in Spanish, supporting outreach to residents of apartment complexes, and underwriting the cost of cab rides for citizens to obtain voter ID cards at the DMV.
