League of Women Voters of Louisville

League of Women Voters of Louisville is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active citizen participation in government by working to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influencing public policy through education. They offer Democracy in Action programs designed to educate members and the community on current issues, featuring panels or speakers. The group's committees also engage in voter registration, voter education, and civics education at naturalization ceremonies, community events, and high schools throughout the Louisville community.
