Major voter service activities include:The Pros & Cons, an impartial guide to local ballot measuresSpeaker's Bureau, volunteers present Pros & Cons to local groupsCandidate ForumsVoter registration drivesCandidate statement films for local offices that are shared online and on TVVoters Edge website- provide financial support and volunteer support for non-partisan website with election resourcesMember eventseducational events for membersPro/Con Discussion- film non-partisan discussions of local ballot initiativesObserver Corp program- train members of the public on observing public governmentmeetings. Encourage them to attend and report back on what is happeningProvide Election Monitoring for homeowners associationsAdvocacy is also part of LWVSFs exempt purposes. Major advocacy activities include:Educational forums and materials on local issuesBallot measure recommendations for local electionsParticipation in local, San Francisco Bay Area, and statewide ballot measure campaigns
