Program areas at Leahs Hope
Residential Living: This program provided rent, utilities, and apartment insurance for 22 adults and children program residents. The Residential Program provides a safe place for each family to live and grow. It also provides employment assistance and transportation assistance for residents as needed. As a part of the Residential Living Program, all furniture, appliances, household items, and cleaning suppy needs are provided.
Life Skill Classes and Family Support Meetings: Leah's Hope provides multiple life skills classes meetings and presentations throughout the year, to program participants and the community at large. Leah's Hope served 55 individuals through life skills classes and family support meetings.
The Annex: The Annex houses the Leah's Hope administrative offices, a food pantry and also household and cleaning supply pantry, and a personal items cupboard, which includes feminine hygiene products, shampoos and soap products, limited clothing items and a full selection of baby items including diapers. The Annex also provides for weekly case management meetings, life skills classes and job search for residents. The Annex also provides a space for monthly board meetings, sometimes with lunch from the attached kitchen. The kitchen has a large refrigerator and freezer that allows residents emergency supplies of fresh food and meat, The Annex served 37 individuals in 2022.
