Program areas at Lee County Farm Bureau
Lee County Farm Bureau participates in apiculture and agricultural education seminars and workshops throughout the state. The program teaches how important bees are to agriculture.
This year Lee County Farm Bureau participated in an event called the Growers Gathering. During this event growers discussed different growing techniques. Small farming operations and backyard growers were able to exchange ideas for what works for them in an ever growing urban county.
Lee County members, in joint effort with the Fair, helps young kids continue their learning and understanding of agriculture and livestock. We provide scholarships to students who participate at the fair and aspire to major in an agriculture related field of study or trade school.
