Legal Services of Southern Missouri provides comprehensive civil legal services to low-income individuals and families in 43-counties of southern Missouri. Services provided includes advice and counsel, preparation of documents, settlement negotiation, litigation, representation before administrative tribunals and representation before State and Federal courts. All services are provided by licensed attorneys. Priority areas of legal representation include: Family Law, Housing Law, Administrative Law, Juvenile Law, Consumer Law,, and miscellaneous matters.The organization has offices in Springfield, Rolla, Cape Girardeau, West Plains and Sikeston, Missouri.LSSM has been providing these services under grant agreements with the Legal Services Corporation and other grantors since 1976.
