Lemonade International

In our newest partnership with Asociacin Comunitaria Alcance, Lemonade International sustained support continuing operations in 4 centers serving over 1,000 childrens daily meals, mentoring, and academic formation with the goal of gang violence prevention. Over a six-month period, distributed vitamins to 170 children and El Carmen Center staff. Partnerships with local Guatemalan restaurants such as Little Caesars and Wendys allowed hot, daily meals to go even farther, providing meals for 170 children as well as their families. Installed a 5-sink unit and trained children and staff to wash hands and brush teeth, improving hygiene of the entire center and reducing sickness. Through local manufacturers, Lemonade purchased and distributed school supplies and shoes to 170 children, investing in the local economy and allowing children to attend public school and actively participate in taking responsibility for their education.
