Lets Do Something Now

Vocational training most of the mothers of teh children who are sponsored have no more than a second or third grade education and serveral of them haven never been to school. While rwandas economy is growing quickly it is leaving the uneducated behind and they are suffering badly. The average casual laborer earns less than a dollar a day. That is why many women turn to prostitution to provide for their children. Lets Do Something Now porvides a vocational training to 3 women to learn how to sew. Those women Now have their own sewing machines and their own small shop in their community. In additon, 20 women received training to learn to make baskets and other items from grass. All of the women who received training through Lets Do Something Now are Now earning a livable wage. They can feed their children purchase clothes for their children and pay their rent by doing Something they enjoy and brings them honor.
