Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches, inc.s mission is to assist persons with visual impairments to develop their capabilities to the fullest and to utilize them in the pursuits of life which are the right and privilege of all. Lighthouse serves individuals of all ages with vision loss or blindness, residing in Palm beach, martin, st. lucie, okeechobee, and indian river counties. Lighthouse offers orientation and mobility training, activities of daily living, assistive technology, adjustment to blindness and comprehensive youth services. Lighthouse also offers support groups, social activities, aids and appliance stores, used equipment grant program, outreach education and training, social services and case management. During the current year individuals were served by the filing organization.
