(1) Worked with City to transform the taxpayer into a Business Improvement District (BID). On July 24, 2015 the Miami Beach City clerks office certified the results of property owners to create a self taxing district. On 10/30/2015, the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District Inc, a non for profit corporation, was created, and is now the entity performing the functions that this entity used to perform.
(3) Worked with the City to implement the $32 million allocated to improve Lincoln and the connection streets to the Miami Beach Convention Center, culminating in the hiring of James Corner Field Operations by the City (the firm that designed the NYC Highline).
(2) Insuring that Lincoln Road is properly maintained including (a) police and security, addressing the homeless issue and street solicitation; (b) landscaping;(c) cleaning; (d) painting; (e) code enforcement; (f) valet parking; and (e) performance arts events.
