Program areas at Link Community Charter School
The Charter School provides a full range of educational services appropriate to grades kindergarten, 1, 5, 6, 7, and 8. These services include regular as well as special education. The Charter School completed the 2022-2023 School year with an enrollment of 334 students. Next year, we will add 2nd grade as we continue to build out a full kindergarten to 8th grade elementary School. With a focus on bridging the academic achievement and opportunity gaps, Link supports strong student growth and achieves impressive outcomes. The School is armed with a strong board and leadership, and an experienced and committed staff, all delivering a well-developed mission within a framework of core values.
The Charter School provided nutritionally balanced, low cost or free meals to students each School day through its breakfast and lunch programs. The programs are federally and state assisted.
The Charter School implemented the every student succeeds act (essa) and the idea programs. These programs were enacted by congress to preauthorize the elementary and secondary education act with major focus on providing all children with fair, equal and significant opportunity to have a high quality education through enrichment activities. In addition, the Charter School also implemented requirements of the esser, arp and other covid-19 related activities to retain and maintain School operations during the covid-19 pandemic.
