Lions Clubs - 2942 Verndale

Community and member humanitarian services benefiting people in the Verndale community and through the district and international Lions. Projects during the year included holding a bingo party for local group homes and donating to and volunteering at the annual city celebration. The Club provided scholarships and to the local school for various programs and events benefiting youth. The Club donated to the city of Verndale to help cover maintenance and repair costs of the community center. Many other small donations were made to a variety of causes including vision and hearing research, public radio, a historical society, youth activities and leader dogs for the blind to name a few.
