Program areas at LitArts RI
LitArts RI holds low-cost workshops that offer opportunities for RI creatives to explore aspects of creating literature and art, as well as developing the skills needed to professionalize that work. Workshops focus on podcast and audio training, panels with local and national experts, and craft workshops with local teaching artists
LitArts RI has a shared space for local creatives to utilize as a place for conversation, study, and reflection. The space functions as a community gathering place as well as a quiet workspace for creatives to focus on their projects and art
LitArts RI offers events and supportive infrastructure for community members to bolster connections and belonging. These include assisting in community led writing groups, local creative showcases, conversations for writers of color, and local organizational partnerships for co-created programming.
