The Literacy Coalition improves the quality and increases the availability of literacy services for Central Texans. We envision a community that is 100 percent literate, employable and engaged. The core strategy of the organization is to embed its high-quality, proven programming in the business, education and workforce sectors outside of the K-12 system to end the intergenerational cycle of poverty and illiteracy. Programs and services are designed to deepen the impact of local nonprofits, strengthen the business workforce, and build stronger communities.
