Program areas at Live and Learn Program
In 2022, Live Learn provided ongoing supportive services for 192 adult women living in poverty in maricopa county through our signature economic empowerment for women Program. Our support allowed 164 women to enroll in certification and degree programs 56 were the first in their family to pursue postsecondary education. Over 12 months, 102 women received ongoing, 11 coaching to develop job readiness skills, apply for jobs, interview, and secure and retain full-time employment. We hosted 26 financial literacy workshops tailored to the needs of women in poverty. Direct financial assistance was provided to 192 women for transportation, housing, and childcare to ensure their stability as they pursued their education and a career.
