Clean cities coalition program: nearly 100 local clean cities coalitions serve as the foundation of clean cities by working in communities across the country to implement electric vehicles, electric vehicle infrastructure fuel-saving technologies, idle reduction and new mobility choices. Clean cities coalition stakeholders are comprised of businesses, fuel providers, vehicle fleets, state & local government agencies, and community organizations. We work locally, regionally and nationally to build partnerships with public- and private- sector transportation stakeholders. We share best practices and lessons learned to inform choices and build a strong national network and use robust processes to collect and maintain relevant data sets to inform transportation decision making. We work with industry partners and fleets to identify and address technology barriers and research need and power local decision makers to successfully identify and implement new transportation strategies. We conduct site visits, demonstration events, conduct targeted training sessions and work on electric vehicle corridor planning.
