Hatfield Mennonite Home provides non-profit housing and services designed to meet the physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual needs of the senior adults it serves. Hatfield Mennonite Home helps senior adults foster health, security, and happiness, empowering them to find purpose and joy.the organization accomplishes this mission by providing housing, nursing, rehabilitation, life enrichment, and other related services to its community members. It operates a 54-bed skilled nursing community (dock terrace), a 55-unit personal care community (the willows of living branches), a 47-unit personal care community (oakwood court) and a 26-bed personal care community for individuals living with dementia (harmony house). For the fiscal year ending june 30, 2023, 305 individuals received a combined total of 60,539 days of medical care. Of that group, 80 received financial assistance from medicaid or community-funded benevolent care, which aids residents whose resources are not sufficient to cover the full cost of their care despite prudent financial stewardship. The total cost of unfunded and benevolent care for fiscal year 2023 was $3,114,207.11. The organization serves the broader community by providing educational and service opportunities for local students. As a public service, Hatfield Mennonite Home is a clinical training site for a local college nursing program and for the public vocational school's health care program.
