Living Classrooms mission is to inspire children to learn about and value our natural world through garden-based education. We contract with school districts and individual schools to develop school-specific garden-based instructional programs that provide engaging, hands-on, State-standard aligned lessons that stimulate curiosity, support the next generation of environmental stewards, and support healthy eating by engaging students in growing their own food. Living Classroom offer a full range of start-up and ongoing support services including T/K-6th grade lesson plans and lesson kits, instruction, garden design and installation, and a platform for scheduling over 700 lessons per school year.
