Living History Studies educates Americans about their country and supports cultural studies through programs in period costume, music, speeches, and research. We provide educational outreach to Texas school children and specially challenged individuals, empowering them to gain knowledge and appreciation of the American experience. Additionally, we offer support to the community for education in cultural studies, with a focus on celebrating grassroots cultural events that celebrate the people's history.

Program areas at Living History Studies

Educational outreach: provided to Texas school children and specially challenged youth and persons. We supported education programs for students and for specially challenged persons, empowering them to gain knowledge and appreciation of the american experience, historically and culturally. Activities included historical education, mentoring, historical festivals and events, computer online resources, library access, as well as health and welfare needs enabling such individuals to prepare for tulelage. This outreach included supporting individuals and organizations equipped to advance this cause. A Texas historian presented research on native americans to thousands of Texas students on the site "Texas indians" supported by Living History Studies. There were 2,000 persons served.
Cultural Studies research and support: support provided to the community for education in cultural Studies, especially that of the american people and their roots. Our focus here was on "grass roots" cultural events in an effort to celebrate the "peoples History" of the united states of america. Historical source, both print and film at no cost for research of Texas and early americans assistance in research provided to those in need of guidance. There were 30 persons served in this effort.
Historical outreach: Living History Studies featured historical video programming about History on the worldwide web, including civil war, native americans, and ancient History and such as archaeology, religion and cultural Studies. Aslo, dr. phil arnold provided, at no charge, research service for students on historical issues. There were 300 persons served.
