The focus of the health & wellness program is to improve health conditions and wellbeing for immigrant and refugee communities.
Living Well Kent Collaborative hosts a childcare health consultation program which is designed to provide services to bridge between community and childcare services. The program provides full access to high quality, culturally and linguistic appropriate home childcare training for somali speaking providers.
Living Well Kent Collaborative promotes healthy food options within the lower income communities and works to empower and support immigrant farmers through the Kent east hill farmers market, access to agricultural growing space and land for beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers, and farmer training and technical assistance.
